Senior Pastor

Marlin Nafziger loves God and loves people. He enjoys ‘thumping’ music’, volleyball, chocolate chip cookies and ping pong. He has always had a passion to build relationships with those that are in need, and leading Timberline since its inception has opened the door to many opportunities.

Marlin, his wife Lisa and their three daughters live in the country surrounded by trees, a stream and a pond. His approach to ministry is simple, practical and straightforward. He is more concerned that people grasp the messages than that they are wowed by flash, fashion or flair.

Children's Ministry Director

Bethany Kauffman has an incredible zeal for teaching children and watching them learn and grow. She believes that God can use children of any age in amazing ways! Her dream for the children at Timberline is that they become convinced that they are never too young to know and serve God. Bethany graduated from Lancaster Bible College and has a teaching certificate in Early Childhood Education.

Bethany enjoys making beaded necklaces and participating in active water and snow sports with her husband Marv.

Worship Ministry

Tony Gochnauer has no interest in settling for status quo.  He immerses himself in music and enjoys playing guitar, piano and vocals.  Tony is a board enthusiast…skate boarding, surfboarding and snow boarding are his passion. 

Tony and Erin are parents to Lucy, Adam and Zachary and together they enjoy walks in the park, vacationing at the beach and watching movies.  His favorite food is pizza and cookies…any kind of cookies!

Hospitality/Administrative Ass't.

Phoebe Nafziger is the friendly  face most people first meet when attending worship or visiting at the office. She loves to meet people and enjoys making them feel at home. Going to work is fun because she likes what she does!  

Phoebe directs the Welcome Center on Sunday morning and provides valuable administrative assistant services to the office during the week.  She enjoys brisk early walks with her husband and is in her sweet spot when surrounded by her family (three married children), friends and especially her grandchildren.
